West Yorkshire Playhouse performance of Lifeboat

28 May 2017

Children from Year 5 (in preparation for learning about World War 2 in Year 6) enjoyed watching West Yorkshire Playhouse's performance of Lifeboat at St Bartholomew's Church Hall, Armley.

The play focused on the lives of two 15-year-old girls in 1940 who spent 19 terrifying hours in the water on an upturned Lifeboat.

The organiser of the event commented on the excellent behaviour of the children and was impressed by how attentive they were.
