During this difficult time, our primary aim is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, pupils and families. We understand a school or class closure is inconvenient and will impact families in different way.
Within this in mind, we do our best to ensure school remains open where possible. However, we understand there may be times that some children cannot be in school for a period of time.

Keeping regular learning going during the period when children are not able to attend school is of great importance to reduce the impact on children’s education.

However, we understand that everyone’s circumstances at home will be different.  Some families have one child to support while others have several.  Some families have one device to share while others may have more – and some things may work differently on difference devices.  Some parents will have plenty of time to help their children learn, while others will be working from home and may have much less time and some children will be able to work more independently than others or need greater challenge.

For this reason, we are adopting an approach to remote learning that will be supportive to all stakeholders and provide opportunities for children to achieve and make progress.

Remote Learning - Guides to Using Microsoft Teams

Below are guides on how to access Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams will support ongoing education as it will help to provide the link between the teacher and child/parents.

As with most online learning platforms, there are a number of ways to access assignments in Microsoft Teams so the text and video guides differ slightly. This was intentionally done to demonstrate different ways of accessing assignments.
