Year 3 (Class 8) - Science - Yorkshire Sculpture Park Trip
Today class 8 had a fantastic day visiting Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
In the morning we had a guided tour around looking at some of the amazing sculptures. We did some sketching and even made our own sculptures out of clay.

Year 6 (Class 15) - Science - The Human Eye
Class 15 enjoyed learning about the different parts of the human eye.
Children had to identify each part of the human eye and their function.

Year 3 (Class 8) - Science - Tadpoles
We have some new visitors in our classroom!
We will watch the tadpoles grow over the next few weeks and go through the different stages of metamorphosis until they turn into tiny frogs ready to be released back into the wild.

Class 4 enjoyed a visit from some animals, including a stick insect and a snake!
Some of us were brave enough to touch and hold some of the animals.

Class 4 have been planting beans in Science.
First we planted the beans in plastic bags until the roots started to grow. Then we re-potted our beans into pots.

This week, children got the opportunity to take part in some very exciting science workshops, this is class 16 enjoying meeting and learning about different animals.

Class 9 were absolutely amazed with their animal encounters with Zoolab as part of British Science Week.
