Art at St Bart's

At our primary school, Art is a vibrant and valued part of the curriculum, designed to inspire creativity and confidence in every child.

We have developed our own bespoke art curriculum, allowing for meaningful and organic links with other subjects across the school, enriching pupils’ learning experiences.

Each year group builds on key skills in drawing and painting, ensuring steady progression and mastery over time.

Every child has their own personal art sketchbook, which travels with them throughout their school journey, providing a wonderful record of their creativity, development, and achievements as young artists.
