Class 13 have been exploring a range of effective strategies to help regulate their emotions and promote a sense of calm. These included stretching, using sensory objects, counting, and practising slow, controlled breathing.
Working in small groups, the children rotated around a variety of regulation stations, where they had the opportunity to try out and demonstrate each technique.
They also shared their own ideas and strategies that help them feel relaxed and ready to learn.
