We explained our findings.

Year 1 (Class 4) - History - Explorer Visit
Class 4 were lucky enough to be visited by a real life explorer called Dan Tastic!
He taught us all about the history of explorers and told us about the places he had visited, including Antarctica.
He also brought some items from his adventures that he shared with us.

Year 6 (Class 16) - P.E - Fitness Sessions
Class 16 thoroughly enjoyed completing fitness sessions with sports coaches from Leeds Beckett University.
Children completed skipping sessions, football dribbling sessions and exercises such as press-ups.
Well done class 16!

Year 2 (Class 6) - History - Sir William Petty and The Great Fire of London
On Monday class 6 had a visit from Sir William Petty.
He told year 2 all about The Great Fire of London.
He showed us how a storm lantern worked and it didn’t matter how many children tried to blow it out they couldn’t. He taught us about where the fire started and how it spread.
