Year 6 (Class 15) - Science - The Circulatory System
This week, we made our own versions of the circulatory system, showing where the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood travels to reach our lungs, and the rest of our body.
Year 6 (Class 15) - Science - Dissecting Hearts
This week, as part of our circulatory system topic, we dissected a lambs heart.
The children worked in groups, to dissect and find the atriums and ventricles of the heart.
Year 6 (Class 14) - Science - Dissecting Hearts
Class 14 have enjoyed dissecting hearts today and learning all about how the heart works and really enjoyed seeing the inside of the sheep heart we dissected.
Well done class 14.
Year 4 (Class 9) - Computing - Word Processing
We have been developing our word processing skills in Class 9 - this week we have been editing text using bold, italics, underline and alignment.
We’ve also learnt how to undo if we make a mistake.
Year 4 (Class 9) - English / Oracy - Inference Questions
We did an Oracy lesson in English in Class 9 this week.
We worked in groups to answer inference questions about Chapter 3 of Oliver Twist, building on each other's ideas using phrases such as "I agree and would like to add..." and "I understand what you are saying, but..."
Year 4 (Class 9) - Maths - 3 and 4 Digit Numbers
In Maths, Class 9 have worked in pairs to flexibly partition 3- and 4-digit numbers, using place value counters.
Year 6 (Class 15) - PSHE - Healthy Foods
This week, we discussed what foods can make a healthy lifestyle. The children looked at different food diaries, and different food labels, and discussed what snacks they thought each person should have based on their existing diet.
We then fed this back to the class.

Class 12 enjoyed a visit today from Mr B who told them all about his journey from Jamaica after the war on the Windrush.
The children were enthralled and amazed by his stories and throughly enjoyed their hour with him.
