Class 15 enjoyed an extra session with the Leeds Rhinos coach this week.
They played a game of dodgeball that was throughly enjoyed by everyone.

Year 5 - P.E - Headingley Stadium Tour
What a fantastic experience.
This week some of our children have been on a tour around Headingley Stadium. They were also introduced to 2 new sports; goalball and wheelchair rugby.
The children loved the activities and didn't want to stop playing the wheelchair rugby.

This week was our first lesson about fair-trade.
The children learnt about the Silk Road, and researched different countries and discovered what they would have traded 2000 years ago.

Nursery - Ducklings 2025
We had 5 eggs delivered a few weeks ago. We kept them in an incubator.
We did not have to wait long as on Wednesday four of the eggs cracked and we observed 4 beautiful ducklings hatching. On Thursday they all have been transferred to a cage where they could run around.

Year 6 (Class 15) - Fun Day After SATs
After all the hard work and long hours preparing for the SATs, we finally had a blast!
From games and creative activities to just hanging out and laughing with friends, it was the perfect way to unwind and celebrate.
A well-deserved break filled with fun, smiles, and great memories!

In history, we researched and created fact files about the Windrush generation, learning about their contributions and challenges.
We then presented our work to the class, helping each other understand this significant chapter in British history through shared learning and discussion.

Year 6 (Class 15) - PSHE - First Aid and Emergency Situations
We learnt vital first aid skills and how to respond in emergency situations.
We practised CPR and the recovery position, and learned how to help someone who is choking. We also explored how to recognise and respond to serious conditions like heart attacks and angina.

Year 6 (Class 15) - Science - Light and Shadow
Class 15 have spent today learning about light and shadow, we drew around our shadows on the playground in the morning then revisited later in the afternoon to investigate the changing shadow and relationship to time.
