Year 6 - Music - Leeds Lieder Choir Workshop
The choir had an amazing workshop with members from Leeds Lieder and then went to a great concert where they sang their own verse of a song which they had written themselves.

Nursery - Autumn Celebrations
Diwali, Remembrance Day, learning about the charity Children in Need, Odd sock Day and Kindness day.
The children enjoyed learning about the special celebrations and engaged well in all the fun activities.

Year 5 (Class 12) - English - Story Time
Mr Needham took Class 12 to the library to read them a story (George’s Marvelous Medicine).
He brought with him Grandmas salad and the medicine that George made for her.
The children loved listening to him read and really enjoyed the story.

Class 14 have been learning the song Happy by Pharrell Williams.
Some children played the glockenspiels to the music and the girls and boys split into different vocal parts, check it out for yourselves and BE HAPPY!

This week, the children wrote their own speeches in the style of Winston Churchill.
They performed their speeches at the end of the week.

They won lots of races but narrowly missed out on first place.
