Class 6 learnt about weaving through the artwork of Lucy Poskitt, experimented using barring techniques and learnt how to dye material to create a sea texture.

Class 13 have been drawing a copy of Greek Gods and Goddesses. 

They have produced some really lovely pieces that they should all be really proud of.

In art class 6 have been learning how to weave. 

They made a loom out of cardboard, learnt to use paper to go over and under, making sure to alternate the layers. 

I think they did a fantastic job. 

This week as part of our art topic on the artist Andy Warhol class 16 learnt the skill of tracing that we will use in the coming weeks to be able to transfer and image onto a tile to print.

We have been learning all about surviving in the rainforest in English.

Everybody in class 8 was very impressed with our first book in the box challenge entry.

This half term, we have been learning about plastic pollution. 

Each child has picked a sea animal, that is vulnerable and affected by plastic pollution. We have then been using reusable plastic to make these animals in our art lessons.
