Year 5 (Class 13) - Art - Sculpture
Class 13 learnt about the work of sculpture artist Angela Haseltine Pozzi and her work with @WashedAshoreArt project.
Over the coming weeks we will be creating a sea creature sculpture from single use plastic to highlight the impact single use plastic has on our oceans.

Year 4 (Class 10) - Art - Nativity Artwork
Class 10 have drawn some beautiful nativity artwork.
We used a pencil and ruler to create shapes then colouring pencils to create the abstract scenes.
It took lots of time and patience but the finished products are very effective.
Year 5 (Class 12) - Art - Remembrance Day
On Monday, class 12 drew some fantastic sunset and silhouettes for Remembrance Day using oil pastels and felt-tip pens.
Year 4 (Class 10) - Art - Victorian Armley Sketch
Class 10 have been working in the style of L S Lowry, they have used a picture of Victorian Armley as inspiration.
First they sketched the street , then added a smoky sky and painted the buildings. Finally they added their matchstick figures.

Year 2 (Class 6) - Maths - 3D Shapes
Class 6 learnt some new vocabulary in maths when learning about 3D shape. They learnt, faces, vertices and edges.
They then explored different shapes and discovered how many faces, edges and vertices each shape had and if there were any patterns.
Year 2 (Class 6) - Art - Leonid Afremov
Class 6 have been creating art work inspired by Leonid Afremov, they painted a background, tested different media, learnt how to draw a castle, learnt how to add texture to wood and brick, before applying it all in a final piece.

As part of our Banksy topic class 15 have learnt and practiced how to make a stencil along with how they work in preparation for their Banksy inspired piece later this term.
We have had some fantastic work produced and the children enjoyed learning a new skill.
