Year 2 (Class 6) - Art - Weaving & Lucy Poskitt

Class 6 learnt about weaving through the artwork of Lucy Poskitt, experimented using barring techniques and learnt how to dye material to create a sea texture. 

The children then learnt about repeating weaving patterns, before experimenting and practising the art of weaving. 

The children then used what they had learnt to dye material and use it to weave a sea scene before adding detail by gluing and seas animals.
