New School Rules

Last academic year, lots of pupils found the school rules difficult to understand. This was brought to the attention of Mrs Wainwright when some classes emailed her to ask for new school rules.

Mrs Wainwright and Mr Needham decided to ask classes to discuss and suggest new rules - rules which would be easy for everyone to remember and follow.  

Mr Needham consulted with a working group of pupils from different year groups and the following rules were created:

• Respect (staff, children and property)
• Uniform (wear at all times)
• Listen (to everyone)
• Excellence (do your best)
• Safe (stay safe)

The new school rules are now part of our Behaviour Policy and we are very proud of them.  They are visible in all classrooms and they are also on the corridor.
