Year 2 (Class 6) - History - The Great Fire of London Workshop

Class 6 really enjoyed having a visitor from the past. Sir William Petty came from 1666 to tell the children all about The Great Fire of London.

They couldn’t believe how he spoke and what he wore, let alone what he told them about the fire. They took part in experiments, learnt how the fire started, spread and how much work it really took to put out the fire.

They had an amazing time and learnt so much more from being engrossed in the experience.
