Year 2 (Class 5) - History - Great Fire of London Workshop

Children in Class 5 really enjoyed the Great Fire of London workshop. 

We met Sir William Petty who was a landlord, but lived in Ireland. He told us all about how the fire started and why it spread so quickly. We learned how they tried to put it out and completed our own experiment where we formed a human chain and passed buckets along. 

Sir William Petty also brought in some artefacts for us to look at.
