Class 5 learned about how Buddhists meditate. We looked at a Buddhist temple in England and learned about the different things they do at the temple.
We all participated in a short guided meditation, listening to the calming music and voice while smelling the relaxing scent of incense.
We talked about how we felt during and after the meditation.
After our meditation, we went outside to listen to nature and talked about the different things we could hear.
These were some of the things we felt during our meditation:
- I felt like I was outside by myself.
- I thought I was in my heart, because I could hear my heart beating.
- I felt like I was rolling in a bubble.
- I felt like I was on the moon.
- I felt like I happiness was all around me.
- I felt like I was in a dream.
- I felt like I got the bad feelings out and the good feelings in.
- I felt like my body was getting stronger.
- I felt calm and energetic.
- I felt like I was flying.
