Year 3 (Class 8) - Science - Femurs

Today we investigated whether people with longer femurs could jump further. We made predictions, measured the femurs of everyone in our groups and then measured how far we could jump. 

We made sure that we all jumped from the same spot and did the same kind of jump. 

We found that some of the people with the shortest femurs could jump the furthest.
