Nursery - Gross Motor Skills
In nursery the children have been developing their gross motor skills this week.
We have been singing 'Sleepy bunnies' and other action songs as well as dancing with scarves and ribbons. In the outdoor area, we created simple obstacle course for children to hop and jump over.

Some year 5 and 6 pupils had a fantastic opportunity to try golf this week.

Year 4 (Class 12) - P.E - Ice Skating
Class 12 had a fantastic time ice-skating. The coach was very impressed with how much they had come on, over the 2 sessions.

Class 17 enjoyed Mountain biking this week and didn't let the rain stop them.
It was great to see the increase in confidence from the children from last year.

Year 4 - P.E - Leeds Rhino's Player Visit
Last week KS2 had a an exciting visit from Leeds Rhino's player Joe Gibbons.
Joe talked about what it takes to become a professional rugby player and did a Q and A session with the children.
Afterwards Joe visited some of the classrooms and signed autographs.

We used beanbags to balance on our heads while we stood on one leg, walk around the hall and go through hoops and over hurdles.

Year 4 - Class 11 - P.E - Class Dancing
Unfortunately the rain has stopped Class 11 getting outside for P.E, but it hasn’t dampened their enthusiasm for exercise.
