This week we have all become a part of drawing club. In drawing club we read a story and draw pictures about it. This week we have been focusing on the story; The 3 little pigs. We have loved it! Some of the class 1 boys showed their interest in the story by building a house in the outdoor area and re-enacting the story.
Our role play area has also become a hospital this week. The children have loved taking care of their friends and taking on the role of a doctor. Funnily, this linked with our PE lesson where we played a game of germs and doctors. Children with the red cones were the germs and could spread the illness to the other children, who then has to freeze once their were caught. Children with the blue cones were then the doctors and have to save the infected children. Also in PE, we looked at all the different things we may see at the circus and created our own circuit, where each team got a turn at - juggling bean bags, balancing on the benches, jumping over huddles and more. So much fun!
Finally, in maths this week we have been learning all about 1 2 3. We created a number tray for each number, showing different representations for each.
