Year 5 - Music - Rocksteady Performances

It was great to see the Rocksteady bands perform what they have learned this very short term. 

After only 10 weeks practice, all 4 bands were brilliant, with the guitars playing power chords, the drummers rocking out some great fills, the keys putting backing tracks down with great skill and the vocals giving it everything! 

Aaron, the band leader, has worked so hard to get the children to an amazing level of performance and don't forget, for quite a few of our rockers, it was their first performance. It is great to see the bands expanding in number, from the 14 children who started it, to nearly 30 talented children, gaining confidence and new skills.
