Class 9 did some Oracy in Maths this week. We focused on the listening strand, picking out key information to solve problems. We worked in pairs to solve one and two step addition and subtraction word problems.
We firstly came up with an action to identify whether we needed to add or subtract (or both), then used the column method to find the answer.
