Year 2 - P.E - Panathlon Event
What a fantastic afternoon we have had. Some of our KS1 pupils have represented the school in a Panathlon event.
They did fantastically well and came in 2nd place.
The children had lots of fun and worked together as a team on a variety of event.

In history, we have begun our new topic - we are going to be learning all about Grace O'Malley.
Today we have looked at pictures of lots of different pirates and discussed what we think makes them a pirate.

Year 2 (Class 7) - Computing - Stop Motion
Year 2 have started a project on animation in computing, they made a film out of pencils using stop motion animation.

Year 6 (Class 16) - PSHE - First Aid
Class 16 enjoyed an introductory lesson to first aid. Children discussed their understanding of first aid and created their own definitions.
Class 16 then went onto identifying risks in different settings and how to reduce risk.

Year 2 had a visit from Mrs Albalki who taught the children all about Eid and Ramadan.

Some of the children in year 1 have been practicing their oracy skills in a small group.
We discuss the important aspects of speaking and listening, including looking at the speaker, taking turns to talk and thinking about what we are going to say.
