Year 3 (Class 8) - English - Subordinate, Conjunctions and Clauses

Today in English, we looked at subordinate, conjunctions and clauses. We matched up the main causes with the subordinate clause.

Next, we identified the subordinate conjunction and manipulated the sentences, so the subordinating clause was at start. Because we had changed the sentences around, we then had to correct the punctuation including capital letters, full stops and commas.

We discussed this orally, and when we shared our sentences, we spoke the punctuation orally to help us remember it in our writing later.
