In our first week of ICT club we were using WordPress again but this time we are designing our own Wikipedia page.
Everyone made great progress and quickly understood the basics of the WordPress GUI.

Year 6 (Class 16 & Class 17) - PSHE - First Aid
Classes 16 and 17 enjoyed learning about how to cope in an emergency. Children watched a video created by the St John’s Ambulance identifying key points on how to cope in an emergency.

In class 6, we found out more information about Grace O'Malley!
We watched a video and created a fact-file all about her, before ordering some key events in her life.
We created freeze-frames to go alongside each event.

Year 4 (Class 11) - History - Leeds City Museum Trip
Class 11 had a great day at Leeds City Museum.
We explored the different eras of Leeds from modern day, right back to the Stone Age such as 1000 year old stone crosses found in a garden.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Science - Washing Powders
In science this week, class 16 tested different washing powders, to find which was the best. Asda's own, Persil and Vanish.
We left the stains for 30 minutes. These were our results. Persil seemed to leave the best results.

Class 15 have started their new art topic.
This half term we will be focusing on pop art and print. The artist we will be using for our inspiration is Andy Warhol with a Greek twist. The children completed their Warhol style selfies this week.

Class 13 received talk tokens and they were given a real life scenario about the fight between Eubank and Watson and they had to decided whether they forgive or not.

The key stage 2 children had a brilliant day today listening to a brass band.
Back Chat Brass came into teach the children all about brass instruments and play their favourite songs. It was brilliant to hear such talented musicians playing live in school.
