Year 6

Our Bartsy activism art has been placed around school to spread a positive message. From Mrs Wainwright’s office to the Boys and Girls toilets, the dinner hall, our water coolers and recycle bins.

Even Mr Worsnop has one in his office warning of the dangers of AI.

Our Bartsy activism art is now proudly on display.

Arianna was very happy that Bartsy took time out to sign hers for her.

She took it home for safe keeping and said she would treasure it.

Class 17 have started a new topic this half term. We will be making our own moving toy using cams to alter the movement.

Today we played with some moving toys and tried problem solving why some wouldn’t work. 

Class 17 have been learning about Remembrance Day and the significance of why it’s important to our country.

We wrote prayers to go on the fallen soldiers graves. 

Well done class 17 for some lovely prayers for Remembrance Day this weekend.

Bartsy met with Mr Dawson over the holidays!

Well done class 17 on a wonderful performance of Joyful Joyful from Sister Act!

All the children worked hard on singing, dancing and playing the glockenspiel.

We were a true gospel choir!

We have been practicing our conversational French this week by asking each other for items from our pencil cases.

Class 15 have finished their Banksy inspired piece of activism art this week.

They have risen to the challenge that Bartsy set them and produced some fabulous work.

Their art will be popping up in various areas of school over the coming weeks once Bartsy has judged their work.

Class 16 were fantastic on the tracks this week embracing the wet weather.

They had a great attitude and improved throughout the session.

We started our journey (with Mr Needham) on the school minibus (kindly driven by Miss Lawson) before getting dropped off at Leeds Civic Hall.
