Class 4 have been learning different printing techniques in art this half term.
They created their own printing blocks using polystyrene sheets.

Class 7 found time between SAT’s to help King Charles celebrate.

Class 11 have had a great day today celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.
We have made characters related to the day, collaged Union Jacks, made celebration paper chains and together coloured part of a mural to create one big one.
They have also enjoyed an afternoon tea.

Class 13 have been painting their galaxy sky ready for their collage.

Class 3 enjoyed decorating African masks as part of our African workshop.
We learnt about different tribes in Africa and had a go at doing some African dancing.

We learned lots of interesting facts about Africa and learned a new African inspired dance.

Class 13 have started their new art topic of collage.
We are using the work of collage surrealist Jesses Treece as our inspiration.
Over the next few weeks the children will be using their creative minds to come up with a piece of art based on a volcano set in another galaxy.

We have discovered paint pens and the children have created some amazing pictures.
We have also added gold coins to treasure chests and counted how many there were - some of the children counted beyond 20, they were very rich pirates.
