Nursery - Halloween Fun
In nursery this week we have been exploring pumpkins. The children loved looking at them, describing and painting them.
We have been ordering them according to their size and checking which ones are heavy and light. We opened them up and saw what was inside.

Year 6 (Class 17) - Music - 'Joyful, Joyful' Song Video
Well done class 17 on a wonderful performance of Joyful Joyful from Sister Act!
All the children worked hard on singing, dancing and playing the glockenspiel.

Year 5 (Class 14) - Music - Ghost Parade Video
Class 14 have been practicing and rehearsing to be able to perform the song Ghost Parade.
They have worked really hard to learn difficult glockenspiel parts as well as a challenging recorder line.

Class 11 decided on how to conduct and experiment to find which pitch of sound travels furthest (low or high).
Mr Horsey played a variety of instruments the children chose, with different pitches, to see which was the loudest.
We measured the volume with a data logger, using decibels.
