Year 3 (Class 9) - R.E - Religious Leaders

In RE this term we have been looking at religious leaders and inspirational people.
For the last 2 weeks we have been researching modern day leaders and creating a presentation about one of them.

Reception - Respectful Song Performance
Reception have really enjoyed learning all about 'Respect' for our Worship theme this half term.
They have shared their own experiences of being Respectful to others and talked about ways they can show Respect.

Year 4 (Class 12) - R.E - Inspirational People

This half term in RE we have been looking at inspirational people and religious leaders such as Jesus, Moses and Mohammad (pbuh).
Over the last 2 weeks children have worked in groups to research and create a presentation about a modern day leader who inspires them.

Year 3 (Class 9) - R.E - The Story of Exodus
Today we looked at the story of Exodus and how Moses lead the Hebrew people from slavery and in to the desert.
We talked about what made him an inspirational leader and how the Jews felt during this time.

Today we worked in groups to discuss the qualities that make a good leader.

Year 5 (Class 14) - R.E - Baptism & Confirmation
Class 14 have been working hard in RE.
We have been looking at the differences between baptism and confirmation.

Year 1 (Class 4) - Ramadan
Class 4 were very lucky to have one of our children's parents come into class to talk about Ramadan.
The children learned lots of information about this important celebration and then completed some activities.

Class 10 have been learning about how people express their faith in different forms.
We learned about how Vaisakhi is celebrated, which is a festival observed in Punjab similar to a harvest festival.
We learned how people express themselves through Bhangra dancing and had a go at it…
