Year 5 (Class 13) - Windrush Session

Year 5 had some very special visitors this week that are from the Windrush generation! They learned lots about what it was like coming to England from the Caribbean and some of the challenges they faced.

The children thought it was amazing to meet real life people that had experienced what we were learning about in history lessons.

They also listened to some Caribbean poetry and music.

Mr B also taught them some fantastic dance moves!
