Year 4 (Class 11) - Music - Sound and Pitch

Class 11 decided on how to conduct and experiment to find which pitch of sound travels furthest (low or high).

Mr Horsey played a variety of instruments the children chose, with different pitches, to see which was the loudest.

We measured the volume with a data logger, using decibels.

We found the low the pitch, the further it travelled.
