Year 5 (Class 14) - English - Author Visit (Tom Palmer)

Today class class 14 were lucky enough to meet the author Tom Palmer! 

Tom came into school to inspire children to read and maybe even become a famous author themselves. Tom told the children about his journey to becoming an author and how he had to really believe in himself and be resilient through the publishing process. 

It took Tom 20 years to get his first book published and now he has written 64! 

His books have war, football and running themes- all keen interests of Tom’s. 

The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop led by Tom.
