Class 6 had an amazing time in Scarborough.
They ate ice cream and ice lollies, some walked on the sand for the first time in their lives, explaining how strange it felt between their toes. We dug giant holes, made huge sand castles, some children even dug deep enough to find water.
We then needed to wash off the sand. Jumping over waves, discovering the sea tasted salty, splashing each other, the day was amazing.
One of the best and most rewarding trips of the year, the children thoroughly enjoyed it.
