Year 3 (Class 7) - Art - Yorkshire Sculpture Park Trip
Class 7 had an amazing day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park!
We started the day by looking at different sculptures around the park and using these to make sketches in our sketchbooks.
In the afternoon we worked in groups to create our own sculptures from various materials.
Year 6 (Class 16) - Art / Oracy - Critiquing
Class 16 enjoyed playing the target oracy game in our art lesson today.
They looked at a piece of art by our new artist Jesse ( Treece collage artist) and critiqued it using specific vocabulary.
Year 6 (Class 16) - Art - Artist Focus Pages
Class 16 have been introduced to our artist of the term Jesse Treece.
We have looked at some of his work which the children the critiqued and turned into an artist focus page in their sketch book.

Year 5 (Class 12) - Art - Art at Home Folder
A member of class 12 has enjoyed the opportunity to take home class 12’s ‘Art at Home’ folder.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Art - Ramadan
One of our pupils took the art bag home and drew this lovely piece to celebrate Ramadan.

Year 5 (Class 13) - Art - God's Covenants
Some great art work by class 13 showing God's Covenants he made to his followers.
Tamara drew a beautiful picture to symbolize the story of Noah's Ark and the promise God made.

Year 1 (Class 4) - Art - Sculptures
Class 4 have been practising different techniques they can use to make sculptures this half term.
We then made our own seals out of clay and painted them carefully.
Year 6 (Class 16) - Art - Art at Home
A pupil from class 16 enjoyed having the opportunity to take class 16’s ‘Art at home’ folder home with him.
The pupil was very proud of his work completed at home.

Class 13 have been busy planning their patterns to print for their wallpaper.
They all used the same shape but have come up with some lovely individual designs.
