We had another great week in Nursery.

We have started 'All about me' topic and this week we have been looking at each other and trying to describe what we look like and who we are. We have made self-portraits and learnt new songs: 'If you happy and you know it', 'Head and Shoulders'.

Class 13 have been learning how to draw different types of graffiti lettering for their Banksy art work.

They enjoyed learning how to do the drip effect the best.

This week in art we looked at the primary colours. We then mixed the primary colours to see what other colours it would make.

It was amazing to see that we could make orange, green and purple.

Their favourite style was the drip wording.

Class 11 have been looking at a picture painted by L S Lowry. They have listed things they can see, thought about where it was, what was happening and the colours that were used.

We then looked into the life of Lowry and made a fact file. 

This week, year 6 have started their new topic of activism. In art, they have began to learn about the famous graffiti artist Banksy.

They have created scrap pages about him in their art lessons.
