Year 6 (Class 16) - Art - Andy Warhol Style Selfies
Class 16 have had fun making their Andy Warhol style selfies today. They have used just 4 colours to create their Pop Art.
Well done class 16!
Year 1 (Class 4) - Art - Primary Colours
In art, we have been learning about the 3 primary colours.
We talked about how we cannot make these colours by mixing other colours together.
We then experimented mixing the primary colours to make secondary colours.
Year 1 (Class 3) - Art - Polar Bear Sculptures
Class 3 have really enjoyed Art this term and are really proud of the polar bear sculptures they have made!

Year 4 (Class 10) - Art - Dreamcatchers
Class 10 worked really hard to create their dreamcatchers. We first researched the origin of dreamcatchers, and enjoyed learning about Amazonian tribes. We then practiced our weaving skills in preparation for making them.
We showed resilience when attaching beads and feathers.

Year 1 (Class 4) - Art - Sculptures
Class 4 learned about the sculpture Francois Pompon. We looked at the different sculptures that he created.
The children enjoyed recreating his polar bear sculpture.
Year 6 - Art - Ocean Pollution
Year 5 and 6 have completed their ocean pollution topic and made their sea creatures from single use plastics.
We took inspiration from the brilliant sculptor Angela Haseltine Pozzi and our Fabulous trip to The Deep in Hull. I think you can agree they look turtally awsome.

Nursery - Mark Making
We have been practising writing our names and drawing our favourite animals from the story ‘Polar bear polar bear what do you hear’.

Class 14 have started their amazing sea creature sculptures using plastics that could potentially end up in the oceans killing and hurting sea life.

Year 1 (Class 4) - Art - Francois Pompon
We have been learning about sculpture and the French artist Francois Pompon.
We practised the different clay modelling skills.
Year 6 - Art - Single Use Plastic
Our single use plastic supermarket is ready for our art this week.
The children will be choosing the plastic they will use to create the body for their sea creature.
We can't wait to see what they make.
