Year 4 (Class 11) - English - World Book Day 2024

Class 11 had a great world book day on Thursday. They chose their favourite book and designed a new front cover for it. 

They then worked in groups to complete a football and book themed quiz and competed against each other and other schools from across the country. They came up with their own quiz team name and the Bulldogs were victorious after a tie break question. 

The children then got to meet an author and illustrator of children’s books, Liz Million, who took them through how she draws a T-Rex for one of the books she illustrates. We have some wonderful drawings. 

Finally, the children thought about a book they love and wrote a book review about it. 

Some of the outfits were fantastic and the children enjoyed working out who was who.
