Image of Year 6 - Computing Club - Kiki the Dog

In Computing Club we all finished our builds of 'Kiki' the dog.

We then had a discussion about how pets can react to their surroundings and then went on to build the code in the Lego Spike app. Once the code was downloaded to our robot we moved Kiki in front of each of the coloured bricks. After doing this we heard 3 sounds that created a story.

The first was the sound of traffic, the second a phone ring tone and the third was Kiki barking twice.

Year 5 / Year 6 - In Computing Club we all finished our builds of 'Kiki' the dog.

We all worked out that the owner took Kiki for a walk. They tried to cross the road, the traffic was heavy, the owner's mobile phone rang, which meant they lost attention. As a result, the pet barked loudly to make the owner pay attention.

Pupils then experimented with sounds to create their own story.
