Last week we have enjoyed learning all about Lunar New Year. 

We discussed the traditions and celebrations that people carry out when celebrating Lunar new year, such as cleaning the home, decorating, family meals, dragon dances and fireworks.

Reception exploring 3D shapes.

This week in class 12 we have been looking at perimeter. 

Today we have been working together to find the perimeter of shapes.

Well done to Charlie who has been inspired this week to write aloes about homelessness, after our work on kindness this week.

Class 10 worked really hard to create their dreamcatchers. We first researched the origin of dreamcatchers, and enjoyed learning about Amazonian tribes. We then practiced our weaving skills in preparation for making them.

Class 7 had an amazing number day, they enjoyed all the activities, the visitors and learnt lots through games.  

Class 7 really enjoyed their story time with Mr Needham this half term.

They found the details about the foods disgusting and Mr Needham brought in lots of example to help everyone imagine how horrible they really were.
