Year 6 (Class 16) - History & Oracy - The Suffragettes
This week in history, we studied the suffragettes.
We discussed their activism, the approaches and extreme measures that they used, and if they were successful activists or not.

Year 3 (Class 8) - History - Anglo Saxon Workshop
Today we took part in an Anglo Saxon workshop. We enjoyed finding out about Anglo Saxon weapons and warfare. We were shocked how heavy the chainmail was!
We got to hold real Anglo Saxon artefacts and played an Anglo Saxon game.
Year 3 (Class 7) - History - Anglo Saxon Workshop
Today class 7 took part in an Anglo Saxon workshop, we learnt about the clothes they wore and the different weapons that were used when fighting the Picts.
We also learnt about games that they liked to play and had the opportunity to play one of them and try on a helmet.
