We looked at lots of photos of what happens at a baptism and had the chance to look at some of the special objects, such as a candle, christening gown and baptism certificates.

We can recognise all of the coins and notes, order them by value and count in pounds and pence.
This week we have been exploring how to make amounts in different ways, using the coins to do this practically.

The children in KS1 have enjoyed creating transient art pictures depicting snowflakes as part of their fine motor development.
They used lots of loose parts, carefully placing them to make their frosty picture.

Year 2 (Class 6) - Design Technology - Castles
This half term, class 6 have been making castles as part of our DT work.
We had a design brief to make a castle for younger children to play with. We designed our castles, made and decorated them then evaluated what went well and what we would change.
It was great fun!
