Poland won the end of half term class 8 dodgeball tournament, beating the traditional powerhouses of England and Portugal and narrowly overcoming dark horses Slovakia.

Class 8 had an excellent time exploring our local area and industrial heritage - we walked through the woods, along the canal and under the rail bridge.
We saw the river Aire and learnt how the canal was important for trade in the Victorian period.

Class 8 had a brilliant time at Armley Mills. We learnt what it was like to go to school in Victorian Leeds.
We wrote with ink pens and slate boards, learnt the importance of a healthy body and learnt the value of preserving the social order and knowing our place.
