Year 3 (Class 8) - P.E - Ice Skating
Class 8 had an excellent time ice skating today.
The children grew in confidence throughout the session.

Year 1 (Class 3) - Science - Trees
In science this week we have been looking at the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees.
We went on a tree hunt around the school and looked at the different leaves to help us decide what kind of tree it was.

We have been learning our numbers up to 50 in class 3.

We have been think about what it is to be kind and how we can be kind to others.

Year 1 (Class 3) - Design Technology - Fruit Smoothies
In DT this half term we are going to be making fruit smoothies.
Before we thought about making our own fruit smoothies, we did some product research and tasted some smoothies from the super market.
We tried to guess what fruit we could taste in it and then we gave it a rating out of ten.

Class 3 have really enjoyed Art this term and are really proud of the polar bear sculptures they have made!

In science we have been looking at human teeth and investigating what drinks cause the most damage to teeth.
Last week we set up our investigation putting chalk into 6 different liquids.
This week we recorded our observations.

In DT, we will be making feijoada which is the national dish of Brazil.
We discovered that the only compulsory ingredient in feijoada is beans so we conducted market research to find out which other ingredients people would like.

Year 5 - Bikeability

Year 5 are into their second week of Bikeability.
Class 13 really enjoyed last week and it is class 14 this week.

This week class 12 have been conducting market research for their feijoada project finding out what ingredients our classmates like and dislike.
We will use this information to decide what ingredients to include when we make our own feijoada.
