Year 2 (Class 6) - English - The Paper Bag Princess
Class 6 have been reading The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch, and we finally read the ending of the story.
It turns out one of the main characters isn’t very nice and the children explained why using a stem sentence for support and explained using ‘because’.

Today we found out that Big Ben’s clock face is 7 metres in diameter, and each number is 60cm long. To understand the size of the clock face we went outside with a trundle wheel.

Children in class 5 really enjoyed their book day workshop.
They were detectives who used their code breaking reading skills to track down 2 double agents.
They were successful in their quest and worked well as a team!

Well done to all the children who decorated a potato as a character from a book.

Class 9 had a fantastic book day! We had some amazing costumes, listened to some stories and took part in some exciting activities, including a fantastic workshop.
