Year 1 (Class 4) - Science - Plants
Class 4 have been learning all about plants.
We matched up pictures of parts of a plant and took it in turns to tell our groups what each part of the plant does.
Year 3 (Class 8) - Science - Magnets
Today in science we used magnets to test whether different materials are magnetic or non magnetic.
Year 6 (Class 16) - Oracy \ Science - Metals and Pollution
This week, we discusses pollution and how it affects metals.
We had an oracy discussion based around different types of metals, and how air pollution can affect them. We then tested this, and are observing our results over time.
Year 4 (Class 10) - Geography - Tropical World Trip
Class 10 had a fabulous school trip today!
We saw lots of wonderful animals at Tropical World, including butterflies, meerkats, monkeys and a crocodile.
We also had lots of fun playing together in the park.
What a great day we have had!
Year 5 (Class 12) - Oracy / Science - Are Metals a Sustainable Material?
This week in science class 12 we have had an oracy focus.
We have been discussing: are metals a sustainable material?
And are electric cars good for the environment?
Year 4 (Class 11) - Science Week - Grow to School
As part of science week, year 3 and 4 enjoyed an assembly from Grow to school.
Grow to school have been working closely with year 3 since September and they were keen to share what they had been doing.
Year 4 (Class 10) - Science - Science Week (Forces)
As part of Science Week, Class 10 were exploring forces.
We made paper aeroplanes and had a competition to see which flew the furthest - Ayra was our champion!
Year 3 (Class 8) - Science Week Workshop
Class 8 had lots of fun at our amazing Science week workshop.
We looked at insulators and conductors, how water can defy gravity and how to make elephant toothpaste.
Year 5 (Class 12) - Science Week Workshop
This week is National Science Week class 12 took part in an amazing workshop.
Year 4 (Class 11) - Science - Curiosity
This years Science Week theme is curiosity.
We are looking forward to workshops and fun interactive lessons taking place over this week.
Today we had fun investigating whether paper aeroplanes, gliders or helicopters stay in the air the longest amount of time.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Science at Home
A member of Class 16 has enjoyed the opportunity of completing lots of science activities at home.
The pupil enjoyed telling Mr Needham what Science activities he had completed.
Year 6 (Class 16) - Science - Sustainable Materials
This week, we started our new topic on sustainable materials.
We discussed hat sustainability is and what types of materials are sustainable.
The children then made posters about different sustainable materials.
