Year 6 (Class 14) - Science - Dissecting Hearts
This week in science as part of our circulatory system topic class 14 have dissected hearts.
The children have absolutely loved investigating the different chambers, valves and vessels in the hearts with real life specimens!

Year 3 (Class 8) - Science - Plants and Water
Today we looked at how the water had travelled all around the plant. We could see where the water had reached because of the red food dye.
We identified different parts of a plant and what job each part does.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Science - Dissecting Hearts
In science this week, years 5 and 6 have been dissecting a sheep’s heart.
We then looked at the difference arteries, ventricles and chambers.

Year 6 (Class 14) - Science & Oracy - The Circulatory System
This week class 14 have been debating whether the scientists Galen or Harvey’s theory about the circulatory system was correct.
They used sentence stems to help them structure their ideas.

Year 3 (Class 9) - Science - Circuits
Today we worked out whether a circuit was complete and would light a bulb.
We made them up and identified what the problem was if the bulb did not light. We drew diagrams for each one.

Year 4 (Class 12) - PSHE - Occupations
Today we worked out if a bulb would light up by building circuits to match pictures.
We drew circuit diagrams of each one using scientific symbols and explained why the bulb would or would not light.
