Year 1 (Class 4) - R.E - Sukkot
Class 4 have been learning all about the Jewish celebration of Sukkot.
We learnt that Jewish people build shelters in their homes called sukkahs and then decorated our own sukkah.

Year 6 - P.E - Primary Stars Football Tournament
We are very proud of our efforts in the Primary League Primary Stars football tournament.
The football played by the girls was exceptional and the children demonstrated excellent sportsmanship.
The team qualified from their group in the morning and played in the Champions League section…

Today we looked at the different kinds of bullying: cyber, verbal, physical and social.
We made freeze Frames to show what each kind of bullion looks like and how the victim of each kind might be feeling.

Class 14 worked in table groups to form expanded sentences using relative clauses, coordinating and subordinating conjunctions.

Year 6 (Class 16) - R.E - Yom Kippur
Class 16 have learnt about the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur.
They made a fact file showing the key points of the festival.
The children recognised, whilst they may follow a different religion, there are similarities between themselves and what the Jewish faith believe.

Year 6 (Class 14) - Maths - Common Denominators
Children in class 14 enjoyed the challenge of finding common denominators in order to complete subtraction sums involving fractions.
