Year 2 (Class 6) - Christmas Treasure Hunt
Class 6 loved going out to complete a treasure hunt today!
We hunted around the field for clues and rewarded with hot chocolate and a prize at the end!

Year 6 (Class 16) - Science - Water Resistance
This week, class 16 tested water resistance, they made boats out of tin foil and raced against each other to test how streamlined and water resistant they were.

Year 1 (Class 4) - Christmas Treasure Hunt
Class 4 enjoyed taking part in a treasure hunt organised by Wortley Community Centre.
The children followed a map to find the Christmas clues.
We then enjoyed a yummy hot chocolate and a delicious bun.

Year 2 (Class 5) - Geography - Climates
This week we looked at the world map and discuss the climates of different countries we discussed polar, temperate and tropical countries.
When we looked closely we realised the countries near the equator had a tropical climate and countries furthest away had a polar climate.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Design Technology - Cams, Cogs & Levers
Class 16 have been looking at cams, cogs and levers.
With this knowledge, we built small rotating toys that showed the principles of them.
When they were finished, year 2, class 5, came to play with them give a review.
