Year 6

Well done to this pupil for sharing his accomplishment of attending extra swimming lessons in the Easter holidays.

Classes 16 and 17 continued learning about first aid in PSHE.  

Children watched a video on how first aid is administered by lifeguards on Bondi Beach. They then discussed how defibrillators are used in an emergency.

This week in ICT club we learnt how to enable comments on our Wikipedia page.

Everyone then left a comment on each others wiki page. 

We also discussed the importance of been kind and respectful to others when been online.

The children enjoyed cracking codes in semaphore and create their own codes for their friends to crack.

We have been improving our Wikipedia pages this week in ICT club.

Everyone has successfully created an external website link and also chosen a 'featured' image for their page.

Class 17 really enjoyed their first aid session.

They learnt what to do if they come across someone choking and practiced on 'Annie'.

Well done class 17 on some excellent Andy Warholl inspired print work for out ancient greek topic.

Well done class 17 on another successful PSHE lesson in which we looked at emergency situations and how we would respond as first aiders.

Years 5 and 6 are enjoying their lunchtimes.  

Children have a range of activities to take part in, or they can just enjoy socialising!

In our first week of ICT club we were using WordPress again but this time we are designing our own Wikipedia page.

Everyone made great progress and quickly understood the basics of the WordPress GUI.

Well done to class 16 and 17 who performed Eerie Canal as part of our music curriculum this half term.
