Reception - Health Week

In Reception we had lots of fun in Health week and learnt lots about our bodies and how to keep healthy.

We took part in mini assault courses in our outdoor area and practiced our hula hooping and skipping skills.

Reception - Superheroes

We had a fantastic first half term in Reception learning all about superheroes.

We listened to lots of superhero stories and learnt Supertato and Superworm using Talk 4 Writing.

We enjoyed talking about what our super powers would be and designing our own costumes.

Year 5 Multicultural Week

It has been multicultural week across school this week and year 5 have been learning all about Poland!

We learned all about the cities of Poland, the food they eat and the different monuments that you can go and see around the country.

Nursery Winnie the Witch

We have been reading about the adventures of Winnie the Witch.

Nursery Numbers

We have really enjoyed working with the Numicom to help us understand numbers.

We went to a Pirate session at Armley library, we listened to stories about pirates, we looked at books about pirates and we made pirate hats, parrots and eye patches.
