Class 16 have been practicing graffiti art today, they enjoyed trying different styles and all worked exceptionally hard.

In R.E Class 6 have been learning how to make good choices. 

They discussed what happens if you don’t follow rules then carried out a role play. 

Thinking about how each person may be feeling, what they may say or do next. 

Today we went on a sound hunt around school. We made predictions about the loudest and quietest places in school. 

Then we visited them and measured the volume with data loggers.

Class 6 had an oracy lesson about art, discussing what they liked and disliked about Leonids work. 

They then wrote about it and drew a picture of their favourite work. 

Class 9 enjoyed investigating pitch in their Science lesson. 

We worked out that smaller objects produced higher pitched sounds. 

We also found that glass bottles have a higher pitch when they contain less water. 

Buttons loved his time at the caravan with Miss Poole and her family. 

He enjoyed playing bingo, having fun at the beach and joining in at the disco!

Class 12 took part in a debate today like scientists of the past to argue if the Earth is flat or spherical.

They concluded of course that the Earth is spherical and could provide numerous pieces of evidence for this.

We have been looking at place value this week and using blocks to help us partition numbers.

Today we began learning about sound. We investigated pitch using different instruments and identified the patterns we found. We learnt that sound is a vibration and felt the vibrations of different instruments and tuning keys.
