We loved celebrating World Book Day in Reception! Look at our fantastic costumes, do you know who we are?
We even had a special visit from The Book Man, who taught us songs and told us stories.

Reception - Making Pancakes
Reception loved making their own pancakes in our school kitchen to celebrate pancake day.
We even got to taste them and choose our favourite topping – syrup, sugar or lemon juice.

Year 2 (Class 7) - P.E - Throwing and Catching
Class 7 have been outside practicing our throwing and catching skills in PE.
Once we have mastered this we will be using rackets and building in defending skills.

Year 4 (Class 10) - World Book Day
Class 10 had a fabulous time on World Book Day.
We had so many amazing costumes from Superman to Matilda and Red Riding Hood to pirates. The adults in our class came as villains from fairy tales. We spent the afternoon putting Captain Hook and Ursula on ‘trial’ for their crimes.

Year 5 (Class 13) - Book Cover Designs
Class 13 enjoyed completing their own front book cover of their favourite books.
Children also looked at how front covers have changed over time.

Nursery - Summary 03.03.2023
We have had a busy couple of weeks, we have been dong lots of work and learning about dinosaurs and pirates.

Nursery - Paint Pens
We have discovered paint pens and the children have created some amazing pictures.
We have also added gold coins to treasure chests and counted how many there were - some of the children counted beyond 20, they were very rich pirates.

Today we worked in groups to solve problems based on measurement with reasoning.
