In our oracy session, we worked in groups to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using stick puppets.

Class 4 have enjoyed accessing the different areas of provision.
They really enjoy playing with the farm in the small world area and developing their fine motor skills by building flowers.

We had an amazing time on World Book Day.
All of the children in year 1 worked hard to create and recite a poem about Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.
We wrote character descriptions in the form of wanted posters to describe Jack from our story.

Year 6 - ICT Club - Lego Mindstorms
Everyone in ICT club is enjoying building and programming the Lego Mindstorms Robots.
Oliver and Olumide programmed their robot to stop when they clapped their hands! They then modified their instructions and programmed it to stop when it got to within 10 centimetres of the wall!

Today we learnt about food chains.
We learnt about the transfer of energy from the producers to the consumers and created food chains including a variety of prey and predators.

Year 4 (Class 11) - English - Poetry Workshop
The children spent some time working in pairs to discuss their ideas for the class poem.
First they worked together in groups to make animals and shapes the author asked them to.
They were fantastic at working in groups and she was very impressed by them.
